At Ten Acre Games, we’re passionate about seeing creativity come from anywhere. One way we encourage this is by hosting game jams. These are time-limited events where people create a new game or project based around the theme of the jam.
Anyone is free to take part in any of our jams, managed on Itch.io.
Many of our jams end up with all the submissions being added to a bundle for anyone to buy, usually at a “pay what you want” price.

Cereal Box Game Jam

Running for the month of May 2025, this jam was all about creating games that can be printed on cereal boxes. The submissions are some of the most creative tabletop games you’ll ever see.
Tabletop Stocking Stuffers

In the lead up to Christmas 2024, we ran the Tabletop Stocking Stuffers jam to collect games published over the previous year. All submissions had to be easily home-printable on a single sheet of paper, so they could be used to fill Christmas stockings. All the games were available in a pay-what-you-want bundle throughout December of that year.
Roll Up! Game Jam

To promote the release of our d6 TTRPG system, Roll Up!, we hosted a jam for people to create brand-new games using the simple and versatile system. The jam ran through August and September 2024, and resulted in 13 truly excellent games being produced.
Tabletop Game Tool Jam

The first jam we ever hosted was for tabletop game tools – that is, physical and digital tools to for people creating and running tabletop games. This was run as a competitive jam, with those who took part voting on the submissions. The winner out of the 43 wonderful submissions received a pack of digital goodies to help them continue creating and running tabletop games.
