Classic trifold pamphlet

This is a template for creating single sheet trifold pamphlets. These are very popular for a variety of tabletop games and modules, as they are convenient to carry around and easy to read.

This template is available on three different platforms – all online and free to use:

A5 trifold pamphlet

The A5 trifold has become an increasingly popular format for tabletop adventures. Since each panel is A5 portrait size, it is larger than the classic trifold and can fit more information without feeling bulky or awkward to use.

The template is built in Canva, measures 444 x 210 mm in total, and includes guidelines for folds and margins.

A5 booklet

While the A5 trifold format is great, the main drawback is that it isn’t convenient for printing at home. To overcome this, this A5 booklet template uses the same margins as the trifold version above and can be used either as a standalone template or to create an alternative layout for the trifold.

The template is built in Canva as A4 pages, including guidelines for folds and margins.

Lulu print templates

Lulu is a popular service for publishing print-on-demand books – it’s a great way for creators who don’t have the capital for traditional printing to get their work into the hands of their audience.

All of Ten Acre Games’ physical books are built with these templates.

One of the benefits of using Lulu is that they have a wide variety of book formats available, with each one requiring documents submitted in the correct format.

Here is a growing list of Lulu templates, created in Canva, with the appropriate bleed, margins, and guidelines all in place. These are templates for interior pages and not covers, as the cover template dimensions will change depending on the number of pages in the book.

As we work on more Lulu print templates, they will be added to this list.

Card templates

The Game Crafter is an excellent site, offering tools, templates, and other resources for game creators. Amongst their offerings is a collection of templates for different size cards, available in a variety of formats.

Here is a selection of The Game Crafter’s card templates ported to Canva for ease of use.

These templates were all created by The Game Crafter, and Ten Acre Games does not take any credit for the design or layout.

As we work on more card templates, they will be added to this list.

Itch.io product images

Itch.io is a popular platform for indie game developers as it provides a simple and free way to publish and sell games with built-in marketing tools.

The difficulty for developers is getting games noticed, and a big part of that is having the right images to showcase the content they contain.

While these Canva templates won’t improve anyone’s graphic design skills, they provide easy layouts for the primary image formats that Itch.io uses for games.
