Underground Escape is one of 10 adventures in Kiwi Acres and is included in the full Kiwi Acres collection for Mausritter. It uses the tension-fuelled mechanics from the Breathless system by Fari RPGs. While the adventures work best within the setting, they are designed to be playable as one-shots in any context.
The notorious wētā gang, the Night Creepers, has raided Scarecrow Stand! Residents are fleeing and the players find themselves quickly ushered into the underground mole tunnels to escort the mayor to safety. A group of wētā are in hot pursuit and players must protect the mayor at all costs.
Unfortunately, the maps of the mole tunnels have been lost and no one knows the way out. Players must find their way through and escort the mayor to safety on the other side. If they stop for too long the wētā will catch up to them and they will be overrun. The wētā are merciless and will not be lenient. Will players find their way through and escape in time? Or will they become victims of the violent wētā?
